Privacy Policy

The short version

AstroVeda is an astrology app for guidance and entertainment. We collect only what we need to generate your chart, run the app, and process the things you choose to buy. We don't sell your personal data. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

What we collect

• Birth details — date, time, and place of birth you enter to compute your Vedic chart.
• Account info — if you sign in with Google, your name, email, and profile photo.
• Profile & matching — anything you add for matchmaking (bio, who you're looking for) and your chart signature used to score compatibility.
• Messages — chats you send to people you've matched with.
• Order info — the order id, amount and payment reference for purchases. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
• Preferences — small settings (like theme and currency) stored on your device.

How we use it

To compute your chart and readings, run matchmaking and chat, confirm and unlock purchases, keep the service secure, and reply to your support requests. We don't use your birth details for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use trusted infrastructure providers to run AstroVeda — including Google Firebase for sign-in, database, and hosting. Chart computation is performed by our own astrology engine. Other members can see only the profile details you choose to share for matchmaking. We don't sell your data, and we only disclose information if required by law.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, go offline, block other users, or request deletion of your account and associated data. To exercise any of these, email us at siddhant1249@gmail.com.

Data security & retention

We rely on industry-standard security from our infrastructure providers and keep your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

AstroVeda is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.
